Manufacturing Technician
Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Fairport, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting formal test plans while validating product performance and identifying process improvements.
Note: 1st shift: – 7am – 3:30pm
Rate Range: $25/hour to $27/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Manufacturing Technician Job Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and execute formal test plans and procedures to validate product performance against specifications.
- Conduct functional, environmental, and reliability testing while collecting, analyzing, and documenting test data.
- Collaborate with product specialists and developers to reproduce defects, investigate root causes, and validate fixes.
- Inspect products and processes to identify defects, improvement opportunities, and potential risks.
- Build, modify, and maintain test fixtures, breadboards, and instruments in accordance with engineering requirements.
- Verify acceptance criteria are met and maintain accurate test results, reports, and known?issues documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Technician or associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Electro?Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands?on technician experience conducting product and system testing.
- Proven experience designing, qualifying, and executing test plans using test fixtures and instrumentation (oscilloscopes, function generators, environmental testing tools).
- Strong ability to analyze test results, collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues, and verify products meet all acceptance criteria and specifications.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
