Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors Degree in related field – Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship – 14 years of experience with full life-cycle software development, modeling, simulation, testing, and/or analysis using C, C++, C#, Python, or Linux – 14 years of experience interpreting system diagrams and schematics – 6 years of experience leading software development and sustainment activities – 5 years of experience with Field Service and/or Military Aircraft Support Equipment – Preferred: Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science with 14 years of related experience, OR Bachelors Degree with 18 years of directly related experience, OR 22 years of relevant experience – Experience leading teams in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) – Familiarity with NI tools and components – Experience with development tools like Visual Studio, Git, and Jira – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to define ATE system requirements – Provide guidance on software requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance to software engineers across various delivery streams – Interface with multiple customers to understand and deliver solutions that meet their needs – Guide development, testing, troubleshooting, and release activities to ensure timely software delivery – Develop and oversee implementation of technical roadmaps for enhancing product capabilities and software commonality – Coordinate with other ATE software teams on common architectures while maintaining support for existing hardware and software baselines – Mentor and support the development of less experienced engineers to cultivate a knowledgeable team – Assist in software engineering proposal activities for existing and potential customers – Support Technical Design Review (TDR) and other peer reviews for fellow software engineers and systems engineering activities – Serve as a subject matter expert on various aspects of ATE software products
