Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications directly relating to the work – A minimum of 4 years of engineering experience – At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering – Level 4: 7 or more years of relevant experience or a suitable combination of education and experience (preferred) – Active U.S. Secret Clearance (preferred) – Familiarity with Mission System and Weapon System development (preferred) – Experience with verification and certification processes (preferred) – Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, such as MSOSA or similar Systems Modeling Language (SysML) (preferred)

Responsibilities:


  • Lead diverse engineering teams to develop systems that fulfill project commitments, including customer deliveries and evaluations – Utilize Systems Engineering knowledge to implement, maintain, and enhance the systems engineering framework – Assist the program in adopting MBSE as an integral part of digital engineering to satisfy customer expectations – Conduct Systems Engineering tasks such as requirements decomposition, system architecture, environmental analysis, specification creation, trade studies, program planning, interface management, risk assessment, certification planning and execution, and verification and testing planning, integrating these into the MBSE model where suitable – Employ collaborative, interdisciplinary methods to design, develop, and validate complex systems solutions
