Senior Systems Engineer – Cloud & Network

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent – Minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience – Active DoD Security Clearance (preferred) – Proficient in engineering processes and principles – Knowledge of system architecture, requirements, and interface definition – Experience in systems development and integration – Familiarity with modeling or simulation of systems – Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g. Earned Value Management, DOORs, CAMEO) – Background in Model Based Engineering or Model Based Systems Engineering – Experience in design, electrical, software engineering, or analysis – Leadership experience in projects or team environments

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a team of 3-10 members across multiple organizations – Assess technical performance of systems and influence product direction – Align system development with customer needs through integrated program planning – Track key performance metrics throughout the program lifecycle – Manage system risks and maturity by regularly evaluating system status – Mentor junior and transitioning engineers in the Systems Engineering discipline – Collaborate with experts to improve engineering processes – Support programs related to Direct Attack weapons used on military aircraft and ground platforms
