Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors Degree – Ability to secure a Secret U.S. Security Clearance and Special Access Programs – 5 years of C programming experience – 3 years of multi-threaded development expertise – 3 years of experience with Agile Software Development processes – Active Secret or Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance (preferred) – Real-time software development experience (preferred) – Familiarity with CUDA C/C (preferred) – Basic understanding of GPU architecture (preferred) – Experience with performance optimization (preferred) – Ability to integrate MATLAB algorithms into C software (preferred) – Advanced degree in a quantitative field (preferred) – Experience in professional software development environments (preferred) – Familiarity with modern software development tools (git, Visual Studio, Jira, etc.) (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, algorithm creation, development, testing, and integration of IR and mission planning software applications – Communicate effectively with leads and internal customers throughout the software development process – Manage multiple parallel tasks in a dynamic team environment consisting of systems and software engineers – Work independently with minimal supervision – Mentor junior engineers in software development – Develop use cases for software requirements
