Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors degree in a relevant field – Over 5 years of experience in requirements management and decomposition – More than 5 years in software integration, testing, validation, and verification – At least 5 years of experience with test automation and scripting – Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Systems Engineering or a related discipline is preferred – Familiarity with standard engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, MBSE tools, Jira, Confluence, Git) – Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems thinking skills – Experience with mission systems, avionics, command & control architectures, or embedded systems – Background in software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, or flight test – Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FAA, DoD, NASA) – Experience with cloud, containers, and CI/CD infrastructure (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes, AWS) – Proficiency in performance and reliability testing, including statistical methods (DOE)

Responsibilities:


  • Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements throughout their lifecycle – Create test strategies, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for testing at various levels – Design and implement verification and validation activities (functional, interface, performance) – Analyze testing results, conduct root cause analyses, and suggest corrective actions – Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and test engineers to confirm end-to-end functionality – Oversee integration of hardware, software, and mission systems in secure environments – Utilize modern DevSecOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing) to improve integration and testing – Establish and maintain secure testing environments using cloud-native and virtual resources – Apply model-based systems engineering and requirements management tools for design and analysis – Manage risk, issues, and opportunities; assess technical readiness and critical paths – Drive continuous enhancement of integration and testing processes, bringing in automation and metrics – Document integration outcomes and testing results for design reviews and customer deliverables – Guide and mentor junior engineers; provide technical leadership and broader mentoring as needed
