Job Overview:

This position serves as a short-term staff assistant in the assigned area with the goal of gaining knowledge of and business expertise in the subject matter area. The ranges of duties may include but are not limited to: administrative, clerical, research and analysis, service support, and clinical service and/or support. Applicability of each of these types of duties will depend on the service line, business unit, or functional area in which the intern works. The objective is to provide a practical cooperative learning experience for someone in a student role who has interest in the healthcare field.

Job Requirements:

Some High School – No Degree Achieved (Required)

Currently enrolled in an approved program for specific field of study in a related field (Preferred)

Up to 1 year experience in a related field (Preferred)

Excellent communication and organization skills

Ability to work in a professional business environment

Willingness to follow instructions and learn about functional area where assigned

Job Responsibilities:

Performing general entry-level departmental duties or special projects, as assigned. Including administrative, clerical, research, analysis, and/or clinical service/support.
