As a senior manager at Starbucks, you will lead international marketing strategy and integration efforts that bring clarity, consistency, and impact to our brand across 88 global markets. This highly cross-functional role is responsible for developing program implementation strategies and supporting toolkits that enable international success across a broad range of global marketing initiatives, including but not limited to Global Seasonal Campaigns, Global Partnerships and Global Brand Identity and Narratives. You will establish standards and best practices for the development, launch, and optimization of Starbucks marketing programs—balancing proven global learnings with the flexibility required to ensure strong local market relevance and executional excellence.

You will also play a critical role in shaping and delivering international stakeholder communication frameworks, including communications planning, internal communications, functional knowledge sharing, and the creation of compelling meeting materials and presentations. Acting as a trusted advisor to regional and company‑operated markets, you will provide guidance, feedback, support, and advocacy while driving regional input and alignment on key global initiatives. This dynamic and complex role offers meaningful opportunities to scale ideas, align teams, and solve business challenges that directly influence how millions of customers experience the Starbucks brand around the world.

As a senior manager, International Brand you will…

  • Global Marketing Initiatives :Lead global marketing initiatives and develop program implementation strategies and supporting toolkits for international markets across a wide range of global marketing initiatives such as Seasonal Campaigns, Brand Partnerships and Brand Identity and Narratives.

  • Knowledge Sharing & Visibility : Support and/or lead international stakeholder communication frameworks including communications planning, internal comms, functional knowledge sharing, meetings and presentations.

  • Standards & Consultation : Develop and maintain standards and best practices for the development, launch, and optimization of Starbucks marketing programs.

  • Stakeholder Management : Inspire and influence cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders via partnership with support center, regional, and market-based teams to drive meaningful action to reach their full potential.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 6-8+ years in marketing, product, or brand management — ideally within Food & Beverage, retail, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or global multi-market businesses

  • Strong experience navigating matrixed orgs and managing through influence

  • Ability to build trust, credibility, and strong relationships with cross-functional partners at all levels within the organization

  • A strategic lens — but also highly organized and operational

  • Strong written and verbal storytelling skills — this role translates insights into impact

  • Ability to handle ambiguity while translating ideas and/or problems to solve into action

  • Curiosity, flexibility, and a bias towards action — we’re a lean team with a broad remit

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
