Automation Continuous Improvement Engineer

The Automation Continuous Improvement Engineer supports ongoing projects to enhance automation equipment efficiency, operation, and readiness in manufacturing plants.

Under the guidance of the Director of Automation, they utilize Six Sigma tools to analyze, recommend, and implement machine improvements while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include data analysis, collaborating with design teams, updating CAD/SolidWorks drawings, programming PLCs, and integrating vision systems for quality inspections.

The role involves leading cross-functional teams, problem-solving high scrap issues, and driving equipment performance enhancements.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of automation experience, proficiency in CAD, PLC programming, Six Sigma certification (preferred), and strong project management skills.
