Software Test Engineer

We’re hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for various application types

• Perform comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing

• Validate API behavior, UI workflows, backend logic, and database interactions

• Document defects and maintain repeatable test artifacts in Azure DevOps

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Support testing deliverables for Authority to Operate (ATO) activities

What You’ll Need

• 10+ years of experience in a software testing role

• Experience testing software in federal environments

• Hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot, HTMX, SQL, and Oracle from a testing perspective

• Proficiency using Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD pipelines

• Working knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and STIGs

• Active Secret clearance
