About The Role We are seeking an experienced Frontend JavaScript Engineer to join our team on a fully remote, flexible contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in evaluating, critiquing, and improving AI-generated JavaScript code. Your expertise will directly influence the development of next-generation AI tools that assist millions of developers globally. No prior AI experience is required as comprehensive training and onboarding support will be provided. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of JavaScript, a keen eye for quality code, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic project environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative AI projects, contribute to meaningful technological advancements, and enjoy the flexibility of a freelance engagement.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on knowledge of core JavaScript concepts including async/await, closures, the event loop, and DOM manipulation
• 3–5 years of practical experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Node.js
• Strong instincts for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient frontend code
• Systematic approach to evaluating and improving code quality
• Excellent written communication skills to explain technical reasoning clearly
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred)
• Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI training/evaluation projects (nice to have)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, code review workflows, and frontend performance profiling (nice to have)
• Background in technical writing or code documentation (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript code for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to modern ES6+ standards
• Assess DOM manipulation approaches and identify performance issues or anti-patterns
• Test AI models’ ability to produce responsive and interactive frontend solutions by solving complex UI/UX challenges
• Identify bugs and suboptimal patterns in AI-generated frontend logic and provide optimized, maintainable alternatives
• Write clear, human-readable documentation explaining code structure, state flow, and event handling
• Work independently and asynchronously, managing your own schedule to meet project deadlines
