About The Role The Senior Video Editor at Open Homes is a pivotal role responsible for producing polished, visually compelling, and brand-aligned videos tailored for the real estate industry. This role requires a highly skilled individual capable of handling advanced editing, color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics to craft high-end property videos, client branding content, and social media assets. The ideal candidate will work closely with videographers and internal teams to ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and efficiency. The Senior Video Editor will play a key role in shaping the visual narrative of our marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across projects while staying current with industry trends and platform specifications. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced editors to showcase their technical expertise and creative vision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably within real estate or marketing media production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, including expertise in color grading.
- Proficiency in After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and visual effects.
- Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, and emotional tone in video content.
- Exceptional music selection and synchronization skills.
- Advanced color grading capabilities for interior and exterior footage under varied lighting conditions.
- Strong audio mixing skills, including sound design and ambient noise reduction.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience managing large media libraries and project files.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a high-volume production setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality real estate property videos, client brand videos, and priority projects using DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Create engaging internal content, special projects, and social media videos optimized for various platforms.
- Perform advanced color grading to enhance visual appeal and consistency across footage.
- Execute professional audio mixing, including balancing music, voiceovers, and ambient sounds.
- Add motion graphics, titles, and visual effects using After Effects or Fusion to enhance storytelling.
- Manage raw footage organization and maintain clean project files for efficient workflow.
- Ensure all video exports meet quality standards and platform-specific specifications.
- Collaborate with videographers and internal teams to align creative vision and project timelines.
- Maintain consistency in branding, pacing, and tone across all video content.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in real estate marketing and social video formats to incorporate innovative techniques.
- Support the production process by providing technical feedback and troubleshooting workflow issues.
