Sub-Department: N/A

Pay Grade: 103

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Employment Status: Part-Time

Reports to: Assistant District Manager

Supervises: N/A

Job Summary Perform daily administrative activities of the Conservation District (CD). Provide task support to administrative lead worker.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with office administration of the CD including answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing correspondence, mail distribution, answering resident requests for information.
  • Assists with administrative operations, including agenda distribution, meeting scheduling, making copies, scanning/archiving construction plans, assembling staff reports, preparing bulk mailings.
  • Performs fiscal operations of the CD. This includes preparing contract documents, documenting/tracking expenditures, preparing invoices and requisitions in Cloudsuite, assisting with accounts receivable payments and reimbursements, and budget reports.
  • Assists in collecting or receiving payments due to the CD and maintaining accurate related records.
  • Assists department staff with special projects, reports or assignments or in administration of special department functions, as requested, (i.e., annual tree sale, etc.).
  • Attends meetings and/or training sessions as required.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Assist with office supply inventory and order supplies as needed

Education Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus business, accounting, public administration and computer training.

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years working experience in administrative/office role
  • Must have strong public relations skills
  • Possess strong accounting skills
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office
