Role Description
This is a contract on-site Data Scientist role based in Pleasanton, CA. As a Data Scientist at Symhas, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing data-driven insights, and creating predictive models to support decision-making processes. You will design and implement data visualization tools and techniques to present findings effectively, apply statistical methodologies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve organizational challenges using data science practices.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Data Science, including building and optimizing machine learning models.
- Strong background in Statistics and statistical analysis to derive actionable insights from data.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis to process and interpret complex datasets.
- Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate findings.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
