CSAT Solutions has always emphasized that outstanding people are the key to our success We know that outstanding candidates are looking for challenging career opportunities If you are a highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit CSAT Solutions may have a career for you We invite you to explore the current opportunities available at CSAT Solutions CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Repair Technician This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components Role and Responsibilities Reviews customers complaints to determine details of unit problemsDisassembles units to examine parts for wear or defects using hand or power tools and measuring devicesConducts diagnosis of problems according to customers complaintsCommunicates concerning unit operation maintenance or requests approval for advanced repair to appropriate partiesRepairs units according to requirements using hand or power tools and measuring devicesReassembles units after making repairs or replacing partsAnalyzes equipment performance assess unit functioning includes running basic testsCleans or adjusts mechanical parts to maintain units operating efficiency and to prevent breakdowns or repeat returns for repairInspects units for cosmetic defects and reports findings in shop floor systemInstalls and configures new equipment including operating software or peripheral equipment as requiredReads and researches specifications such as service guides or user manuals to determine unit settings or adjustmentsPlaces orders for any additional parts needed for repairsReinstalls software programs or adjust settings on existing software to fix machine malfunctionsCompares findings with the customers reported problem and advises customer call center of failures foundPerforms computer data entry using shop floor systemsLearns and uses new processes and proceduresResponsible for meeting ISO 9001 andor other quality system requirements in their departmentMay perform other duties as assignedEducation Training and Skills High school diploma or equivalent requiredBasic familiarity with computer use requiredIntermediate English abilities required1 year of assemblydisassembly experience preferred with laptop computer andor technology component repair preferredExperience using hand power toolsIntermediate knowledge of computer hardwareFamiliarity with continuous improvement methods preferredMust be able to work in a fast paced team environment with close supervisionAbility to follow documented procedures standards and policiesExcellent time management skillsWorking Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions Warehouse environment may not be climate controlledLiftcarry up to 20 lbsPushpull up to 10 lbsFrequent sitting bending and twistingOccasional stooping or crouchingUse of small hand toolsCSAT Solutions LP is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race national origin gender gender identity sexual orientation protected veteran status disability age or other legally protected status hireCSAT
