Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security’s (BDS) Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a Facilities Planner, at either Experienced or Senior level, to join our West Corridor Planning team in Tukwila, WA.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting Boeing programs across the enterprise. We’re looking for a candidate who brings passion, adaptability, creativity and a strong drive for process improvement and operational efficiency.As a Facilities Planner, you will be responsible for occupancy planning on a diverse set of space types, focusing on test & development. The role will also support manufacturing/production, office, flightline, lab operations, and more. Our West Corridor portfolio is comprised of roughly seven and a half million square feet across seven sites and is home to a large variety of Boeing programs with complex footprint requirements.This role is not traditional facilities management; it operates at the intersection of strategy, program management, and industrial operations, influencing how we invest in and optimize the infrastructure supporting our various programs.Position Responsibilities: Create near- and long-term facilities plans in response to dynamic program needsDevelop multiple complex scopes for stakeholdersFacilitate approval of the implementation plan to managementEstablish key milestones and identify potential opportunities, risks and issuesProvide status reviews and support project implementation teamSolicit headcount and footprint projections to enable forecasting for Company space and facility requirementsCoordinate, maintain and provide information to update use and occupancy tracking system to identify cost and space allocation to the business partnerCompile and analyze data for business initiatives and team activitiesLead and analyze site studies/business scenarios and strategies to develop proposals and plansPerform regional integration and site analysis, evaluate site capabilities, manufacturing processes and technology forecasts and incorporate these into asset use strategiesInteract with internal organizations and senior level management to identify and assess impact to the business operating planWork with stakeholders and assess resources to create the best value for the customer and the CompanyBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors’ Degree or higher5 years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources3 years of experience using Microsoft office tools, Word, Excel and PowerPoint3 years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiativesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active U.S Security Clearance5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience3 years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD program3 years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools3 years of experience working with and developing a Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)3 years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadershipExperience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplinesStrong written and verbal communication skills; proven success presenting to senior leadership and driving decisionsConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
