This role requires assessing patient status, interpreting clinical data, and addressing unique care requirements in alignment with established policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total patient care, delivering individualized care based on patient needs.
• Assess and interpret data reflective of patient status to provide age-specific, evidence-based care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Embody the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.
• Actively support the hospital’s strategic plan and participate in quality improvement and process enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications

• One year RN experience in an acute care Maternal Child setting required.
• Has at least two years of experience as an RN and must agree to work 1 major holiday, 2 minor holidays, 8 shifts per 4 week period and 3 weekend shifts per 4 week period.
• Current California Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support- within first six months of employment into the position.
• Neonatal Resuscitation- within first six months of employment into the position.
• Basic Arrhythmia- within first six months of employment
• Basic Fetal Monitoring within first six months of employment.
