Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven District Manager to oversee multiple store locations, with a strong focus on team development, training, and operational excellence. This role is critical to scaling our business, building strong leadership at the store level, and supporting new store openings.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail or financial services environment and is passionate about coaching teams, improving performance, and building future leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Team Development and Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and Assistant Managers
- Build a strong leadership pipeline through ongoing coaching and mentorship
- Conduct regular store visits focused on training, accountability, and performance improvement
- Implement structured training programs (sales, lending, product knowledge, compliance)
- Foster a culture of continuous education, accountability, and high performance
Operations and Performance
- Oversee daily operations across multiple locations to ensure consistency and compliance
- Drive sales, lending volume, and profitability across all stores
- Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance
- Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and company regulations (including firearms compliance)
Expansion and Growth
- Play a key role in new store openings, including hiring, training, and setup
- Assist in identifying growth opportunities and operational improvements
- Support onboarding and ramp-up of new locations to company standards
Customer Experience
- Ensure all stores deliver a high-level, transparent, and professional customer experience
- Reinforce company standards: no-pressure environment, clear communication, and top offers
- Resolve escalated customer issues when necessary
Staffing and Culture
- Oversee hiring, scheduling, and staffing strategies across locations
- Maintain a motivated, performance-driven team culture
- Lead by example with a strong presence in stores
Qualifications
- 5 years of multi-unit management experience (pawn, retail, lending, or similar industry preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Proven ability to train, coach, and scale teams
- Experience with sales-driven environments and KPI management
- Knowledge of pawn operations, jewelry, firearms, or lending is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel regularly between store locations
