馃捇 Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our remote technical team. You will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting IT systems to ensure stability, security, and optimal performance across our infrastructure.
鈿欙笍 Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource usage
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Implement system updates, patches, and security fixes
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues
- Maintain backups, disaster recovery plans, and system documentation
- Support cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
馃幆 Requirements
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and system security
- Experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Linux+, Microsoft certifications)
