The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) – AI Consulting team is seeking a highly experienced Technical Manager to lead a team of AI/ML engineers in the development and deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in AI/ML, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers.

Your Key responsibilities will include leading a team of AI/ML engineers in the development, test and deployment of AI/ML Solutions, Provide technical guidance and oversight to the team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop associated statistical models, develop and implement best practices for AI/ML engineering, including software development, testing, and deployment, manage the team’s workload, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to ensure efficient and effective project delivery, mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers, communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including project status, technical risks, and recommendations as well as staying up-to-date with the latest developments in AI/ML and identify opportunities to apply new technologies and techniques to business problems.
