Requirements

Must have:

– A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). – At least 5 years of relevant experience. – A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role. – Strong experience in building or maintaining Retail technology or unified commerce systems. – Proficient in developing and deploying customer-facing Azure applications. – Experienced in building Customer Identity Access Management solutions. – Familiarity with Jira/ADO, CI/CD tools, and general DevOps methodologies. – Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing APIs, preferably on .NET and Azure platforms. – Solid understanding of developing and implementing .NET applications using MVC, MVP, or MVVM design patterns. – Knowledge of frontend development languages such as XAML, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. – An in-depth understanding of modern technology stacks and agile delivery models, particularly with a focus on customer-facing retail applications. – Experience in utilizing backend languages, such as C# and JavaScript, for application development. – Strong proficiency with Integrated Development tools, including Visual Studio, Cloud9, or Xamarin. – Experience in mobile application technologies, with knowledge of platforms like Xamarin or .NET MAUI. – Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA engineers, Product Managers, and Cybersecurity teams. – Proven hands-on experience as a technologist and engineer with the capability to execute strategic plans. – Skills in managing multiple projects, multitasking, and meeting deadlines effectively. – A capacity for leading change and acting as a change agent. – Experience in building, mentoring, and guiding high-performing engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • I ensure the quality of all software development life cycle (SDLC) outputs, including project interim and final deliverables, that contribute to the creation of new applications and business capabilities within the digital eCommerce and loyalty sectors. I proactively drive the identification and mitigation of risks to consistently meet project schedules, budgets, scopes, and quality requirements. – I serve as the technical lead for a team of engineering professionals, which encompasses conducting code reviews, facilitating daily agile standups, holding weekly one-on-one meetings with team members, and leading project-focused team discussions. – I perform evaluations of all new application requests, which involve leading solution ideation, software selection processes, informing the creation of business cases, and leading development resource planning. – I oversee the operational health of a portfolio of business applications, ensuring their stability, availability, performance, data integrity, business continuity, and security.
