Requirements


Must have:

– Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud providers, with preference for Microsoft Azure – At least 3 years of experience with Enterprise Architecture – Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies – Proficiency in CI/CD Pipeline Technologies, such as GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS), ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Flux – Familiarity with containerization technologies, preferably Kubernetes (AKS, ARO, OpenShift) – Deep understanding of Public Cloud Capabilities & Architectures, specifically in Azure – Experience using and maintaining source control systems, including GIT and GitHub Enterprise – Proficiency in Automation & Configuration Technologies, such as Ansible and AWX – Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, like Terraform, Terraform Enterprise Cloud, and Bicep – Demonstrable ability in application development using languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript – Strong communication skills for collaborating with end customers, internal leaders, and cross-functional technical teams

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with other DevOps Engineers, Engineering Teams, and Architects to build and deliver solutions needed both now and in the future – Provide level II Engineering Support of existing CI/CD pipeline components, including Source Control Management (SCM), Build, Deploy, and automation activities – Conduct root cause analysis of software build & deployment issues and implement automation solutions to enhance the customer experience – Participate actively in Agile activities including Kanban & Scrum ceremonies – Stay updated on emerging technologies, taking ownership of personal development

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our company, one of the leading transportation and logistics suppliers in North America. The position is based in Jacksonville, FL, with the possibility of remote work. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our organization as we migrate our data center to an Azure cloud native environment. This role involves close collaboration with Software Developers, Systems Engineers, and other IT staff members to drive the next generation of CI/CD capabilities. The initiative is of high visibility to our technology enterprise, making strong communication skills vital for the role. This is a 12-month contract with a strong possibility of extension, offering a pay rate of $70.00 to $75.00 per hour for an expected 40 hours per week.
