We seek applicants who are currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and anticipate graduating in December 2026 or later. Successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate self-starting capabilities, and have a basic understanding of Information Technology and programming concepts. We are looking for individuals with experience in systems analysis and workflow, along with strong analytical skills for creating reports and presentations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, is essential, as well as effective organizational, planning, and time management skills. Additionally, applicants should be skilled in analyzing and organizing problems to devise technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
As a Summer Associate, you will immerse yourself in the Lending portfolio of applications, providing support and gaining valuable experience through the following activities: – Familiarize yourself with application lifecycle management tools and comprehend how requirements are transformed into implementation steps. – Engage in Consumer Lending Agile Release Train ceremonies and understand how the backlog is prioritized for delivery readiness. – Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to grasp team dynamics and workflows. – Contribute to development tasks by assisting in coding, debugging, testing, or documentation aligned with the team’s current sprint objectives. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, product managers, and designers, to learn how Agile teams deliver value effectively. – Shadow team members during pair programming or code reviews to gain practical insights. – Engage with onboarding materials, tutorials, or internal training sessions. – Maintain a weekly log to document your learnings and progress, and manage low-complexity tasks independently with guidance. – Regularly communicate with your mentor or buddy to seek clarification and constructive feedback. – Share new ideas or observations that could improve team processes or product features. – Keep Azure DevOps updated with task statuses and notes. – Present a summary of your contributions and reflections at the Consumer Lending Agile Release Train Demo.
