Requirements


Must have:

– A minimum of 10 years of experience in developing software solutions for enterprise-level data and analytics using various programming languages and frameworks. – At least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role. – A solid understanding of software programming languages, databases, and the ability to apply this knowledge within software domains and architectural frameworks for a minimum of 5 years. – A minimum of 5 years of experience working with cloud frameworks such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the design, architecture, and development of a data integration and analytics platform that enables us and our partners to manage, analyze, and extract insights from extensive and complex platform datasets. – Ensure that the software architecture is aligned with Engineering Test & Technology (ET&T) software objectives and integrates effortlessly with our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government solutions. – Evaluate and recommend technology solutions for data integration (ETL capabilities like Apache Airflow), data storage (PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Amazon S3), big data processing (Apache Spark), data analytics & machine learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), data visualization (Apache Superset), containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), along with software web development solutions (Angular, TypeScript, Python, RESTful APIs, etc.). – Ensure that software solutions and data governance policies adhere to relevant regulations and standards, including ITAR/EAR, CUI, and data classification restrictions. – Lead the establishment, monitoring, and enhancement of software processes, architectural documentation, tool selection, and key performance metrics to support high quality, repeatable, and comprehensible software system design. – Actively seek to minimize technical debt and prevent future debt accumulation. – Collaborate with software engineering leadership, IT, Software Quality Assurance (SQE), and business counterparts to ensure software solutions fulfill business needs, quality standards, and information security requirements. – Assess and refine the software technical roadmap in terms of addressing new customer requirements and emerging business opportunities while aligning technical decisions with the long-term business plan. – Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to guide architectural decisions and foster innovation. – Mentor early-career engineers and support skill development within the team, promoting a culture of openness, innovation, and technical excellence.
