About The Role We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with Commerce Experience to join our client’s team in San Francisco, CA. This role offers a hybrid work environment, providing flexibility and opportunities to work both remotely and on-site. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Salesforce solutions to meet complex business requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Commerce Cloud, and possess a deep understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.

This position is contract-based, offering a competitive opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact business growth and customer engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and junior developers to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure Salesforce applications. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in integrating Salesforce with third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. Additionally, you will stay abreast of the latest Salesforce innovations and contribute to technical leadership during deployments and system improvements.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience of at least 5 years in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Commerce Cloud integration, is essential. Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Developer, and Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are highly desirable.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and REST/SOAP API integrations. Prior experience with data modeling, migration, and ensuring data security within Salesforce environments is critical. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce to meet business needs.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems utilizing REST and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Gather and analyze complex business requirements to deliver scalable and efficient Salesforce applications that align with organizational goals.
• Architect comprehensive solutions leveraging Salesforce platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.
• Oversee data modeling, migration processes, and ensure adherence to data security standards and compliance regulations within Salesforce.
• Collaborate with functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure development aligns with strategic business objectives.
• Maintain high code quality and system performance through peer reviews, adherence to best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers, foster knowledge sharing, and support project execution across various workflows.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing Salesforce implementations to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce innovations, tools, and best practices, providing technical leadership during deployments and upgrades.
