About The Role The Human Resources Manager at Fujimi Corporation plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR strategy and ensuring the effective execution of all human resource functions. This leadership position is responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while maintaining compliance with employment laws and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will oversee key areas such as payroll, benefits administration, staffing, training and development, and policy enforcement. They will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives, support organizational growth, and promote a diverse and inclusive environment. The role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex employee relations and driving organizational change.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by at least 10 years of management experience across all HR functions. An MBA and SHRM certification are highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in payroll systems, benefits administration, labor laws, and organizational development is essential. The candidate should have strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Advanced proficiency in HR software, including Paycom, along with a comprehensive understanding of Oregon labor and leave laws, is required. A proven track record of implementing effective HR strategies and fostering a positive organizational culture will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and support long-term growth.
- Design, manage, and optimize compensation, benefits, and payroll processes to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Lead recruitment efforts, including talent sourcing, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
- Oversee employee relations, addressing workplace grievances, conflicts, and ensuring a harmonious work environment.
- Develop and enforce internal policies in accordance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Manage performance appraisal systems, training programs, and leadership development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, wage & hour regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with Global HR teams, particularly in Japan, to coordinate expatriate assignments and global HR initiatives.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, fostering a culture of high performance and respect.
- Utilize HR analytics and metrics to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
