About The Role The Business Analyst – Sales Operations at G.E.H.A is a vital role responsible for bridging the gap between sales, IT, and business teams to facilitate seamless system enhancements and process improvements. This position involves conducting detailed discovery sessions, translating business needs into technical requirements, and managing the lifecycle of sales technology projects. The Business Analyst will work closely with B2B, Inside Sales, and IT teams to optimize workflows, implement innovative AI and emerging sales technologies, and ensure that solutions align with strategic business goals. This role requires a proactive approach to research emerging trends, define user stories, and validate technical solutions through rigorous testing. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales efficiency, automation, and technological innovation, ultimately contributing to the organization’s mission of empowering federal employees to be healthy and well.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or a systems-focused role.
  • Proven experience working within a Salesforce environment, including writing high-quality User Stories, managing backlogs, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and sales stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on documentation and process mapping.
  • Experience managing content for AI and Large Language Model tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace and high-speed internet connection.
  • Knowledge of emerging sales technologies and AI trends.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with B2B and Inside Sales teams to analyze existing workflows, identify pain points, and recommend technology-driven improvements.
  • Conduct comprehensive process discovery sessions and create visual process diagrams using tools like Lucid Chart.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to evaluate and prioritize technology requests, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of system enhancements, including translating business requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with IT Business Analysts to develop and refine user stories for Salesforce and other platforms.
  • Perform rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate technical solutions and ensure they meet sales needs.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of current and future sales processes.
  • Research and evaluate emerging sales and AI technologies to identify automation and workflow efficiency opportunities.
  • Serve as the functional lead for AI sales tools, gathering field requirements and collaborating on prompt and logic design.
  • Establish processes for reviewing and updating AI knowledge bases, prompts, and playbooks to ensure consistency and compliance with brand standards.
