About The Role As a key member of the Product Team, the Data Analyst will play a vital role in uncovering insights that drive product development and enhance the trader experience. You will analyze how users engage with our desktop, web, and mobile platforms to inform strategic decisions. Your work will involve collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other analysts to identify key metrics that influence acquisition, retention, and overall business growth. You will be responsible for owning core datasets and dashboards, validating event tracking, and supporting high-impact experiments aimed at improving the functionality and usability of our products.

Your insights will directly impact how traders interact with NinjaTrader’s products, ensuring we continue to deliver a superior trading experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in analytics, data operations, or product analysis
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with modern data stacks such as BigQuery and GitHub
• Experience building visualizations using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or PowerBI
• Strong ability to interpret product behavior and user flows through session data or event logs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn from teammates

Bonus points for experience working in fintech or SaaS environments, familiarity with product analytics platforms like Heap, experience with experimentation tools such as LaunchDarkly, and an interest in futures trading, market dynamics, or financial modeling. Additional skills in DBT are also advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of NinjaTrader’s desktop, web, and mobile products, becoming a subject matter expert in user engagement
• Collaborate with product managers to define goals, translate business objectives into measurable outcomes
• Understand how frontend user actions translate into data collection points and ensure accurate tracking
• Support and maintain core dashboards that monitor acquisition, activation, retention, engagement, and overall product performance
• Manage GitHub models, scheduled queries, and ensure the integrity of datasets used across Looker Studio and BigQuery
• Assist in setting up and monitoring experiments using tools like Heap and LaunchDarkly
• Conduct quality assurance on frontend and backend event tracking to maintain data accuracy and completeness
• Participate in strategic projects led by senior analysts to generate actionable insights and recommendations
