Hub in Texas We generate a substantial majority of our revenue under primarily long term and fee based gathering agreements with our customers The majority of our gathering agreements are underpinned by areas of mutual interest AMIs and minimum volume commitments MVCs Our AMIs provide that any production drilled by our customers within the AMIs will be shipped on our gathering systems The MVCs are designed to ensure that we will generate a minimum amount of gathering revenue over the life of each respective gathering agreement The fee based nature of the majority of the gathering agreements enhances the stability of our cash flows and limits our direct commodity price exposure Since our formation in 2009 our management team has established a track record of executing this strategy Operations Manager is responsible for the supervision of staff that maintain and work with compressors high and low pressure systems metering and associated equipment In addition this position will manage the overall operations of compressor stations natural gas plants and transmission pipeline activities This includes but is not limited to startup activities training staff and maintaining safe and efficient operation Principle Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and provide direction to employees within a geographic territory of transmission pipeline and plant facilities consistent with Company and governmental requirementsEstablish and measure work group goals and performanceResponsible for adhering to operating expense budget and capital projects budgetAssure the work group has the resources and information to make informed decisions regarding day to day operation of the facilities in compliance with all company and regulatory requirementsServe as the first line of management for customers landowners and the public interactions Assure any issues identified by these groups are conveyed to senior management andor address them locallyEnforce company policies and procedures and ensure operations are within prescribed guidelines Conduct personnel reviews oversee the career planning and employee development for those employees in the work group Assist in the hiring efforts of employees in to the operational areaWork with departments such as operations compression and measurement personnel to troubleshoot any problems that originate at the field levelWork independently with little supervisionEducation & Experience High school diploma or equivalent8 years of experience preferredVarious compressor packages and pipeline knowledge preferredPrior experience with natural gas or associated plants preferredKnowledge Skills & Abilities Strong working knowledge of natural gas assets is a mustStrong ability to interact with Land Owners and CustomersEffective organizational and problem solving skills Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone email and personal Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on assigned tasksPossess a positive attitude and professional demeanorPhysical Demands and Working Conditions Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally carry push and pull or otherwise move objectsAble to bend and stoop for filingAbility to sit for prolonged periods of timeAble to view computer terminals for long periods of timeManual dexterity for operating computer and office equipment etcMust be reliable and able
