Akkodis is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician I for a Contract to Hire with a client in Memphis, TN. This role demands strong proficiency with industrial engineering methods, which are used daily to maintain reliable, efficient production systems.

Rate Range: $20/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Industrial Engineering Technician I job responsibilities include:

  • Assist in preparing production areas for line moves and process changes to support efficient workflow adjustments.
  • Update and maintain Product?Process cycle times and related IE data as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
  • Create and revise production visual aids to ensure accurate communication of processes on the manufacturing floor.
  • Order, receive, and validate tooling to support ongoing production and engineering activities.
  • Ensure the standardization of company processes across the site in alignment with global and regional guidelines.
  • Support Lean initiatives by maintaining data integrity and a solid process foundation that enables continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field (bachelor’s preferred).
  • 0-2 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, or production support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD for documentation and process/layout updates.
  • Understanding of core industrial engineering tools such as work measurement, process mapping, and workstation/facilities design.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
