Discover a career at Depot Connect International DCI a global leader in the TankISO Tank Container Services and Tank Trailer Parts industry Were more than just a service provider; were a unified team combining the expertise of industry leaders Quala Boasso Global and PSC Headquartered in Tampa Florida with over 160 locations worldwide our team of over 3500 employees excels in offering a multitude of mission critical services We are currently searching for a diesel truck & trailer mechanic with the ambition to become an ASME certified welder at our Casper WY location Address 3029 Salt Creek Hwy Casper Wy Shift Hours Monday through Friday 800 AM to 500 PM Pay Range 2000 to 3900 per hour dependent on experience Skill based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months Key Responsibilities Perform DOT annual inspections and preventative maintenance on chemical tanker trailersDiagnose and repair air brake systems ABS systems and suspension componentsInspect and repair tanker barrel integrity baffles weld seams and structural componentsService and repair valves manways gaskets vapor recovery systems and discharge systemsPerform pressurevacuum testing and leak detectionTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems if equippedConduct aluminum and stainless steel weldingfabrication as neededMaintain proper documentation of inspections and repairsEnsure compliance with DOT FMCSA and hazmat regulationsMaintain safe shop practices and follow OSHA guidelinesRequired Qualifications3 years of heavy duty trailer or tanker mechanic experience preferredKnowledge of DOT tanker requirements and hazmat regulationsExperience working on chemical tankers strongly preferredWelding experience TIGMIG preferred for stainlessaluminumStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs and work in shopoutdoor environmentsValid drivers license CDL preferredPhysical Demands The employee must regularly lift andor move up to 50 poundsWith assistance occasionally lift andor move up to 75 poundsMust be able to work in confined spaces and working at heights 4 12 feetMust be able to fit through a 16 manway DCI Benefits Medical dental and vision insurance401k with generous employer matchPaid time off including 10 paid holidaysOptional health savings account & flexible spending accountLife insuranceEmployee assistance programParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursementTool purchase programEffective and proven safety programResources to become a national board ASME certified welder
