people operations while serving as a trusted partner to managers and employees This role has a strong emphasis on Workday HCM administration optimization and data quality combined with foundational HR business partnering responsibilities This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into a senior HR Business Partner or HRIS role while gaining hand son experience across the employee lifecycle HR operations and system enabled HR processes THE RESPONSIBILITIES HR Business Partnering & Employee SupportServe as a first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies procedures and employee lifecycle questionsProvide guidance to managers on performance management processes including goal setting feedback and performance improvement plansSupport employee relations matters by gathering information documenting issues and escalating complex cases to senior HR leadershipPartner with leaders to support onboarding employee engagement and change initiatives at the team levelWorkday HCM Administration & OptimizationPartner with IT to ensureAdminister and maintain employee data in Workday HCM ensuring accuracy consistency and data integrityProcess employee lifecycle transactions in Workday including hires job changes compensation updates transfers and terminationsSupport Workday business processes related to onboarding performance cycles benefits events and organizational changesTroubleshoot basic Workday HCM issues and partner with HRIS Payroll or external vendors for resolution as neededAssist with the continuous improvement of Workday processes documentation and user guidanceLeave Administration & Compliance SupportSupport the administration of employee leave requests FMLA ADA STD LTD parental military and personal leave through WorkdayMaintain accurate and confidential documentation related to leave and accommodation requestsPartner with employees managers and vendors to ensure timely communication and compliance with company policies and applicable regulationsLead audits reporting and compliance reviews as neededCreate and automate custom reports as neededHR Operations & ReportingSupport HR reporting and analytics including headcount turnover and compliance related reportsAssist with required government reporting eg EEO1 ACA under the direction of senior HR leadershipPartner cross functionally with Payroll Benefits and Finance to ensure smooth downstream processing of HR transactionsSupport payroll review processes as a backup resource when neededAssist in the development and implementation of industry related projectsCollaborate with team members to achieve project goalsParticipate in meetings and provide input on project progressConduct research and analysis to support project initiativesPrepare reports and presentations as requiredTHE PROFILE TO SUCCEED Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred24 years of experience in an HR Generalist HR Operations HR Coordinator or similar roleWorkday HCM Certificate or equivalent highly preferredHands on experience using Workday HCMSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge and understanding of core HR practices employment laws and HR operationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyComfortable navigating Workday HCM systems and explaining processes to managers and employeesStrong Microsoft Excel ProficiencyStrong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast paced environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative mindset with a desire to learn and grow in HR business partnering and HR systemsEagerness to learn and adapt in a fast paced and growing environment THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to
