Chief Revenue Officer
About the Role
We are partnering with a high-growth enterprise seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead and scale its global revenue strategy. This executive will play a critical role in driving sustainable growth, overseeing all revenue-generating functions, and aligning go-to-market initiatives across the organization.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO will own the full revenue engine, including sales, revenue operations, and commercial strategy, ensuring strong pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and consistent revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the company-wide revenue strategy across all channels and customer segments
- Lead and scale the sales organization, revenue operations, and go-to-market execution
- Drive ARR growth, pipeline generation, and revenue predictability
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing sales leadership teams
- Establish KPI frameworks and forecasting models to track and improve performance
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams
- Optimize sales processes, compensation structures, and territory planning
- Present revenue performance, insights, and growth strategies to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in revenue, sales, or commercial leadership roles
- Proven success scaling revenue in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments
- Strong experience building and leading high-performing sales teams
- Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue analytics
- Experience in private equity-backed or venture-backed companies is preferred
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and board members
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $300,000 — $500,000
- Performance-based bonus structure
