What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Obtain and process authorizations for patient reorders to ensure timely service
- Resolve patient issues and ensure accurate processing via phone and documentation
- Ensure patients have the necessary medical documentation for billing services
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to troubleshoot concerns and verify insurance coverage
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality while managing sensitive patient information
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Customer service experience preferred for effective patient interactions
- Proficient computer skills with strong keyboarding ability for accurate data entry
- Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills
- Exceptional phone and email etiquette for professional customer engagement
