Director of Operations

Position Overview:
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading, coordinating, and optimizing all operations of the organization’s Aerospace & Defense Solutions, aligning the different business lines to ensure the achievement of the company’s objectives in revenue, margin, quality, and growth.
This role uses operations as a strategic lever for growth and transformation, ensuring that the organization executes its 2026 Strategic Plan in an orderly, profitable, and sustainable manner.
This is not a purely technical role, but rather an operations–commercial leadership position, with a strong focus on management, prioritization, and results.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Integrated Operational Management
- Lead and coordinate operations across all organizational business lines:
- Repair Shop (Internal MRO)
- Parts Sales
- Outsource (repairs to third parties / Holding companies)
- On-Site Support for FACH (Chile)
- Align operational capacity, resources, and priorities with commercial objectives.
- Ensure operations support projected growth without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
- Lead the development of internal capabilities and optimize the supplier network.
Strategic Planning and Execution/
- Translate corporate and commercial strategy into efficient operational plans.
- Actively participate in the annual budget process and ensure monthly execution and control.
- Prioritize business opportunities based on impact on revenue, margin, and capacity utilization.
- Ensure compliance with annual and monthly performance targets.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Preferred: MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Operations, Strategy, or related areas.
- Additional training in operations management, continuous improvement, or project management is highly valued.
Professional Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in operational leadership roles.

Experience in MRO, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries. MRO/Aviation,

Proven experience managing multiple business lines or units with different margin structures.

Demonstrated experience in budget execution, cost control, and performance management.

Experience leading growth initiatives, reorganizations, or operational transformation processes.

Salary Range — $150K – $175K( ) Base Salary! – “Higher Base DOE”
