Requirements
Must have:
I require a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Math, Science, or Engineering along with 15 years of relevant technology experience or equivalent operational responsibilities. Preferred qualifications include experience in managing technology in national and/or regional banks. You should have over 10 years of experience leading teams, addressing operational concerns, and creating and executing strategic initiatives. Additionally, I am looking for at least 5 years of experience in leading an enterprise data team, including the creation and execution of a clear data strategy. It would be advantageous if you have more than 3 years of experience managing DevOps teams, as well as over 4 years of experience managing the full life cycle of statistical modeling, including model development and validation.
Responsibilities:
As the Director, Enterprise Data Engineering, I own the strategy for engineering data technologies across the bank. I provide leadership in big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and analytics for the enterprise. Partnering with business unit, Chief Data Analytics Officer, and technology leaders, I help formulate the company’s business and data strategies and product roadmaps. I lead the IT team and its business partners in effective execution of the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap. I also centralize data by integrating and mastering our sources, ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality information that adds business value. Additionally, I direct the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of products and platforms that support business operations and customer-facing applications.

As the leader of this high-impact team, I centralize and monetize data across the bank. My leadership fosters the continuous development of technology skills and capabilities among teams, nurturing an environment of ongoing learning. I manage strategic vendor relationships, promote a continuous improvement mindset, and ensure effective engagement with regulators as required. Furthermore, I am accountable for creating, securing approval for, and managing Business Unit capital and expense budgets. This position requires a strong commitment to driving meaningful financial indicators and strategic opportunities, as well as negotiating and managing multi-million-dollar contracts with vendors on behalf of the bank. Work in this position may vary from 2 to 5 days in the office each week, with standard hours being from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Salary will be determined based on individual experience.
