What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Triage incoming alerts, prioritizing by impact and urgency
• Ensure effective client-facing and internal communications regarding security incidents
• Follow established incident response guidelines to detect and limit the effects of security events
• Escalate response efforts based on the severity of incidents
• Collaborate with team members to manage multiple tasks and alerts effectively

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and alerts simultaneously
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including cross-functional teams
• Capability to make informed and timely decisions in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with security tools such as EDR, MDR, and SIEM, as well as Windows and Microsoft 365 environments

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with incident response and security event management
• Knowledge of email threat protection tools and concepts
• Previous experience in a security operations role or similar position
• Adaptability to new security challenges and industry trends
• Relevant certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
