Pay Range: $65.00 – $75.00 Per Hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Data Analyst Contractor with a strong ability to solve complex problems through advanced data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with product managers and marketers to bolster our business operations within organisation, an exhilarating and growing company. Enthusiasm for working with industry-leading analytics tools, techniques, and practices is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantitative analysis with over 4 years of experience.
  • Utilize SQL languages (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for database management and queries.
  • Create and manage data visualization and business-facing dashboards using Tableau.
  • Communicate complex technical issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Engage with technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, HBase, and MPP systems (e.g., Vertica, Redshift) for data processing and analysis.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with major dialects like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in data visualization tools, especially Tableau.
  • Solid communication skills for clear articulation of technical issues to diverse audiences.

Preferred Domain Experience:

  • Candidates with a BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics, or Operations Research are preferred. Experience in similar quantitative fields will also be considered valuable.
