We owe our success to the quality of our employees, our strong commitment to safety, and our superior service to customers.Key Business Objectives:The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for performing maintenance services on USA Compression’s fleet of natural gas compression equipment. All USA Compression employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and professional work environment.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Maintenance tasks as outlined in the company’s Maintenance Manual
- Travel is required and is expected to be approximately 25% of the time worked
- Follow and observe all safety and environmental policies
- May engage in project work for company and for customer
- Ensure parts and other resources are in place prior to scheduled project date
- Maintain high level of attention to detail
- Accurately input data into FSA immediately following task
- Promptly return unused parts and cores
- Maintain company vehicle according to company guidelines
- Assist in repair of unplanned major failures
- May be asked to assist during after-hours call out, as needed
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills/Capabilities and Education:
- Technical or trade school certification or 3 years of additional work experience in related field
- Minimum of 3 years of natural gas compression experience
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills at the field level to both customers and employees.
- Capable of driving commercial size truck and a valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record history acceptable to USA Compression.
- Operate independently with little or no supervision.
- High degree of mechanical ability
- Read and understand technical manuals
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Internet and inventory tracking software.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communication from the company and supervisor including training, procedures, instructions, etc.
- Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S.
