Overview As an HR Operations & Employee Relations Specialist , you’ll play a critical role in delivering consistent, compliant, and people-focused HR support across the organization. You’ll serve as the primary resource for day-to-day HR administration, employee relations investigations, and core HR processes—ensuring policies are applied fairly, documentation is accurate, and regulatory requirements are met.
Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you’ll help resolve employee relations matters, maintain operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, and provide insights that reduce risk and strengthen the employee experience.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead independent employee relations investigations, delivering clear findings, documentation, and recommendations aligned with company policy and legal guidance.
- Support disciplinary actions, terminations, unemployment responses, and escalated cases in partnership with the HR Business Partner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while tracking ER metrics and identifying risk trends.
- Execute core HR operations, including onboarding, background check adjudication, HRIS data integrity, employee file maintenance, and HR inbox support.
- Support requisition management, headcount validation, and accurate employee
- Prepare regulatory and compliance reporting (EEO, AAP, state pay reporting, training
- Track trends, surface risks, and provide insights that support continuous improvement and informed HR decision-making.

What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, solutions-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about compliance, employee relations, and operational excellence.
You Bring
- An associate’s degree (or equivalent) and 3-7 years of HR generalist, employee relations, or HR operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, investigations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and case-management skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Experience supporting frontline or operations-heavy workforces and managing sensitive employee matters professionally.
- HRIS experience (UKG preferred) and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, interpret procedures, and present information effectively.
