It Support Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive professional to lead the implementation and support of an enterprise-wide monitoring and observability solution in a high-availability, 24/7 production environment.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions, including application performance monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, and event correlation.Administer and optimize monitoring tools such as AppDynamics (preferred), or equivalent experience with three or more of the following: Prometheus, Azure Monitor, SCOM, Entuity, or WhatsUpGold.Collaborate with network, systems, and development teams to ensure end-to-end visibility across complex IT environments.Provide monitoring coverage and support for both Windows and UNIX/Linux-based systems, including advanced shell scripting for automation and diagnostics.Apply cloud-native monitoring strategies, especially within Azure-based infrastructures.Understand distributed application architectures and the associated observability requirements.Respond to incidents, analyze trends, and provide root cause analysis using insights derived from monitoring tools.Work independently or within cross-functional teams in fast-paced, operational environments.Develop documentation and standard operating procedures for monitoring systems and processes.QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in enterprise-level monitoring and performance management tools.Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).Proficiency with network infrastructure and systems administration.Demonstrated knowledge of cloud technologies and monitoring best practices in Azure environments.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to critical incidents.Kavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
