academic and behavioral support at Table Rock Elementary. This role plays a key part in helping students succeed
by supporting classroom instruction, reinforcing routines, and assisting teachers in creating a safe

The Basic Support Instructional Assistant works alongside licensed staff to assist with small-group instruction, support
individual students, reinforce positive behavior strategies, and provide classroom supervision throughout
the school day. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is
passionate about contributing to a positive school climate.You will be a key member of the Table Rock Elementary team, helping students stay engaged and focused so

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following: two years of postsecondary education,
an associate’s degree or higher, or a passing score on the district’s reading, writing, and math assessment. A valid
Oregon driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged.
Candidates should be dependable, patient, and able to follow teacher direction to support
students’ academic and behavioral needs.Prior experience working with children in a school or youth setting is preferred but not required. Strong
communication skills, flexibility, and a willingness to grow as part of a school team are essential.Eagle Point School District 9 –

Placement: Table Rock Elementary, White City, Oregon
Supervisor: Principal or Designee
Contract Days: 182 days per year / 7 hours per day
Salary Range: $17.54 – $24.93 per hour depending upon verified previous full-time experience in a similar position
Includes an excellent benefits package, including 6% PERS retirement “employee contribution”
paid by the District, and tuition reimbursement available
