The Administrative Support Associate is primarily responsible for patient registration; maintaining clinic schedules including scheduling, canceling, modifying, and/or reconciling in EPIC; communicating with faculty and clinical staff concerning patient appointments; answering phone calls; performing cashiering duties; verifying insurance eligibility. This position will also execute various administrative functions for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Patient Admissions, Urgent Care, and other Student Clinic areas.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceSuccessful candidates must demonstrate very strong interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task, including scheduling appointments and answering multiple lines, while meeting with students, residents, and faculty is essential.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperiencePrior experience using EPIC (electronic medical record system). Proficiency in dental and medical terminology and Microsoft Office Suite.
