BCI–Non-Executive Board Position.

BCI is a premier design-build real estate development firm where exceptional buildings begin with exceptional relationships. We unite clients, communities, and a purpose-driven team to deliver projects that endure — defined by craftsmanship, guided by integrity, and shaped by a shared vision of what’s possible.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Chair board meetings with discipline, impartiality, and a focus on productive, well-governed outcomes.
  • Provide independent strategic counsel that supports — rather than directs — executive decision-making in alignment with mission and values.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with key stakeholders — clients, partners, investors, and community leaders.
  • Uphold and strengthen board governance practices, compliance standards, and organizational integrity.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure operational excellence across all business functions.
  • Champion business development initiatives and identify strategic expansion opportunities.
  • Champion commitment to sustainability, community impact, and ethical leadership at the board level.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a non-executive, board-level, or advisory leadership capacity, with a clear understanding of the distinction between governance and management.
  • Strong grasp of corporate governance principles, fiduciary responsibilities, and compliance frameworks.
  • Deep expertise in corporate governance, compliance frameworks, and organizational oversight.
  • Track record of driving measurable results across business development, financial management, and operational performance.
  • Ability to inspire, align, and lead diverse, high-performing teams around a shared vision and common values.
  • Background in construction, design-build, real estate development, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Unwavering commitment to the founding principles of integrity, sustainability, and community impact.
