Robotics Test Engineer

3+ Months Contract

(No C2C and no relocation assistance)

Qualifications:

• Strong automation/scripting experience in Python, C++, or similar programming languages
• Hands-on experience withHIL and/or SVT test environments
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests for hardware or embedded systems
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging skills across software, hardware, and system boundaries
• Background working with robotics systems or hardware-software integrated environments

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for robot hardware, sensors, controllers, and embedded systems
• Build and maintain automated workflows and test benches for HIL and SVT environments, keeping them integrated with CI pipelines
• Create automated sanity, smoke, and regression test suites to support release validation
• Expand functional test coverage across system-level behaviors like locomotion, sensing, navigation, and safety
• Provide troubleshooting support with logs and root-cause observations for automated hardware and system failures
• Document test environments, automation workflows, and operational procedures for cross-functional and global teams
