To learn more, visit .Job Description The Facilities Director works in close collaboration with the Chief Engineer, Office Manager, and Maintenance Supervisor to ensure cost effective and high-quality solutions to facilities management.Daily tasks:
- Walk and inspect community to proactively ensure community and its amenities are well maintained.
- Manage all service contracts. Source vendors. Negotiate terms of contracts. Ensure work is performed by contract terms.
- Prepare and maintain budgets for routine, preventative and capital projects.
- Oversee and manage all maintenance repairs, improvements, and alterations.
- Manage capital projects and renovations.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the GM with updates on progress of work performed.
- Attends board meeting and provides an update to the Board of Directors and community members.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and communication with homeowners, residents, members of the Board of Directors, and internal staff.
- Track and implement safety, pest control, and Healthy Units Initiative programs.
- Enforce standards and process all in-unit renovation applications, scheduling, renovations, and monitor contractor work.
- Maintain structural integrity.
- Conduct unit turnover and resale inspections.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- 5+ years of residential facilities management experience, single family and/or multifamily industry experience is highly preferred.
- Customer service driven, team oriented, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Excellent communicator, written and spoken.
- Proactive, takes the initiative, meets time sensitive deadlines and offers solutions.
- Systems savvy, experience with BuildingLink is ideal.
- Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize tasks, with attention to detail.
- Organized with strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation are required.
