Stellantis Financial Services SFS is the new captive finance company for one of the worlds leading automakers and a mobility provider with iconic brands including Abarth Alfa Romeo Chrysler Citron Dodge DS Automobiles Fiat Jeep Lancia Maserati Opel Peugeot Ram Vauxhall Free2move and Leasys Our exciting growth provides opportunities to advance your career as we successfully lead products and services from a small to midsize company in just a few years Join our world class team and culture and contribute to our core mission which is enhancing our customers experience Position Summary The Sr Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing consumer credit applications assessing credit history and risk and providing decision outcomes within Stellantis Financial Services credit risk policies compliance guidelines and profitability models The Sr Credit Analyst operates with an increased level of authority and provides training mentoring and support to junior Credit Analysts Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review and evaluate all credit reports in common formats and credit data to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit in accordance with company policy credit authority risk appetite and governing regulationsAccurately apply credit policies in accordance with FCRA across multiple product lines for various types of loansManage exceptions to the published credit authority using judgment and experience to produce risk outcomes within company expectationsComplete final disposition on credit applications utilizing authorized resources to complete verifications and due diligence when required forwarding to appropriate level of authority if neededMake outbound calls and manage inbound calls to negotiate final contract terms with both dealer customers and the DRMParticipate in targeted outbound call campaigns as time permits in coordination with the DRMs to cultivate long term dealer relationshipsInteract and communicate through various channels including inbound and outbound phone calls with our dealer partners internal stakeholders and consumers negotiate and provide credit review outcomes respond to inquiries or support strategic efforts and initiativesMaintain confidentiality of personal information for consumers including but not limited to Social Security numbers and dates of birthOther duties may be assigned Qualifications and Competencies Required To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill andor ability required Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Required Experience Minimum of 3 years auto industry experience as a credit analyst or related automotive disciplinesMinimum 2 years of auto underwriting experience Education High School Diploma GED Skills Required Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detailBasic windows computer skillsMathematics percentages reasoning ability judgement and customer facing skillsIntermediate MS Office skill in Excel Access Word and PowerPointExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously Additional Requirements Overtime required required on an as needed basisTravel 0 10 as required on an as needed basisMust have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities Phoenix AZ Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to sit;
