IT Business Analyst II We’re working with a global leader in industrial digital transformation and smart manufacturing on this exciting opportunity. This is your chance to sit at the intersection of heavy industry and high-tech, turning complex manufacturing challenges into scalable software solutions.

As an IT Business Analyst II, you will be the architectural bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams. You’ll leverage deep data analysis using SQL and process modeling via BPMN to drive efficiencies across an international footprint spanning the US, UK, and Mexico.

The Role

  • Partner directly with Software Engineers and Solution Architects to translate complex business requirements into technical roadmaps and adaptable architectural solutions.
  • Spearhead Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) for as-is and to-be analysis to optimize multinational factory operations.
  • Execute advanced data analysis utilizing SQL to identify operational bottlenecks and provide value-driven prioritization for technical backlogs.
  • Seamlessly integrate service strategies into the enterprise architecture roadmap to reduce infrastructure costs and improve global information flow.
  • Manage end-to-end process changes with high visibility, communicating project statuses and resource efficiencies directly to executive leadership.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role, preferably within an industrial or engineering environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis, plus expertise in modeling notations such as BPMN, EPC, or BPEL.
  • Proven experience working within modern Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) including Agile, Scrum, RUP, or Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related Engineering field.
  • The ability to create compelling business cases with highly accurate cost and effort estimations for enterprise-scale projects.
