Investment Operations Associate

A boutique, rapidly growing multi-family office is seeking an Operations & Investment Associate to support portfolio reporting, investment operations, compliance documentation, and internal infrastructure development.

This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-caliber investment team managing several hundred million in assets and gain broad exposure across portfolio management, investment operations, regulatory processes, and firm-building initiatives.

The role sits at the intersection of investment operations, compliance support, and process improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both analytical work and building systems that help an organization scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate portfolio performance summaries and internal reporting
• Monitor portfolio allocations relative to investment policy targets
• Assist with portfolio rebalancing preparation and trade support
• Maintain investment research and due diligence documentation
• Support SEC compliance documentation and regulatory preparation
• Help document and formalize internal operating procedures
• Improve operational workflows, reporting templates, and internal processes
• Support CRM optimization and client onboarding workflows

Ideal Background

• Experience in investment operations, wealth management, RIA, family office, or asset management
• Strong understanding of portfolio concepts (asset allocation, performance reporting, IPS)
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial investment environment
• Self-starter who enjoys building processes and improving systems
• High level of professionalism and discretion

Preferred

• Exposure to portfolio reporting or rebalancing workflows
• Familiarity with SEC regulatory environments
• CRM or operational automation experience
