If you are a high-level problem solver who lives at the intersection of Finance and Engineering, this is your chance to lead complex ERP transformations. You will leverage deep Oracle EBS expertise and SQL mastery to optimize enterprise financial systems that support groundbreaking scientific missions.

The Role

  • Act as the bridge between technical developers and Finance/Accounting stakeholders to translate complex business needs into robust Oracle EBS functional specifications.
  • Drive the configuration and support of EBS modules across Financials, Procurement, and Project Accounting to ensure scalable growth and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the design, testing, and deployment of mission-critical extensions, interfaces, and integrations using SQL and OAF Personalizations.
  • Conduct deep-dive data analysis and root-cause troubleshooting for customized financial applications, coordinating directly with Oracle Support for complex fixes.
  • Execute system patching, upgrades, and change management processes to maintain high-integrity financial environments and audit compliance.

What You’ll Need

  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL with a deep understanding of EBS data structures, Oracle Service Requests (SRs), and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance principles (GAAP) and their translation into ERP workflows and controls.
  • Proven ability to author functional design specifications, test scripts, and program solution documents for highly customized environments.
  • Bonus points for experience with BI Publisher, Oracle Alerts, or working within government contracting/FFRDC compliance environments.
